When it comes to baby clothes, cute and comfortable rarely go hand in hand. Sure, the button down shirts and khakis are adorable for photos but they last for all of ten seconds before Nate is tearing them off. He would much rather run around in a romper all day. Which is precisely why Kicky Pants is one of our new favorite brands!
Kicky Pants apparel is comfy for babies and toddlers and convenient for mommies, with an irresistibly playful, charming style. Their Bamboo Basics line uses soft, sustainable bamboo, which is naturally antibacterial, antifungal and antistatic. Bamboo absorbs water 3-4x better than cotton, keeping skin cool in the sticky, summer heat. Bamboo also helps maintain warmth and cool, making it ideal for all seasons.
In addition to their baby clothing, Kicky Pants also offers swaddling blankets, knot hats and maternity wear.

I first came across Kicky Pants during a sale on EcoBabyBuys and I quickly snagged a pair of print coveralls in the Boy Dot pattern (ARV $30 but on sale for $14). These adorable one-piece outfits feature a drop-down butt that's not only stylish but perfect for dirty diaper checks. Starting at size 6-12 months, the legs are cut to capri length so as not to restrict baby's motility.
If you think they are cute in the photo, you should see them in person! The 18-24 size fit Nate like a glove. The 95% Bamboo/5% Lycra blend gives it just a hint of stretch and the 3/4 length sleeves and capri pants really fit Nate's active lifestyle. The flip-down butt is just too cute for words. It's great for those lazy days when we hang out inside with the AC. We also use them as pajamas since they are so comfortable and breathable. They wash up well - even in warm water - and retain their shape and color over time.
Bottom line: If you want to add a hint of "green" and a dash of comfy character to your wee one's wardrobe, get thee some Kicky Pants.
