Coupon Mom to the Rescue!
As you know, one of my resolutions is to start couponing and slashing my grocery bill. We currently spend about $125-150/week on groceries. Not atrocious for a family of three but there is certainly room for improvement. And thanks to Coupon Mom, I am learning some tricks of the trade.
Stephanie Nelson, aka Coupon Mom, is a savings guru who has been featured on Oprah, Good Morning America, The Early Show and The Today Show with her tricks for strategic shopping. On her new online show, the Coupon Mom Show, Stephanie works with real families to address their biggest financial challenges: anything from eating out inexpensively to entertaining on a modest budget to saving on school supplies or prescription drugs. She makes saving money exciting! Just watch her in action as she shows this family how to cut their grocery bill by more than 75%:
Makes you want to grab your scissors and the nearest newspaper, right? I had no idea about the online coupons that are automatically added to your savings card! Brilliant! I'll definitely be looking into this option since it requires no newspaper delivery, coupon cutting or organizing.
There are already several shows posted but new webisodes will be premiering each week until late April on YouTube and the Coupon Mom website. If you're looking to save some money, you'll definitely want to check this out!
