Monkey Butt may sound like a joke but for anyone that suffers from it, it's anything but funny. For those unfamiliar with the term, Monkey Butt refers to the soreness, itching and redness that occurs as a result of friction and sweat. If you have an occupation or participate in an activity that requires sitting for long periods of time, you'll know what I'm talking about. I worked as a secretary for many years while I was attending college and I will admit there was some uncomfortable rear-end chafing going on at times.

I was sent a 6 oz. bottle of Anti Monkey Butt Powder to review. At first, I wasn't sure how I would use it, as I'm not very athletic or stationary these days chasing after a toddler. But I did notice I sometimes have redness and irritation from my bra bands. So, after showering, I sprinkled some on my skin around my bra line. Sure enough, I've had no more itchy redness since using this product. I've also rubbed some on my legs and bikini line after shaving, where I tend to get dreaded razor bumps. It relieved the redness and irritation almost immediately. The smell was also rather pleasant, with a fresh, clean scent. Next, and just in time for winter, I plan to put some in my boots to counteract my amazingly sweaty (okay, stinky) feet.

What I love most about this product is that it is incredibly functional. People who work outdoors in heat and humidity, people who exercise frequently or people who wear thick uniforms like firefighters, police officers or military could benefit, as could the disabled or bedridden. Even ladies who prefer thongs could use this product to protect their, ahem, intimate areas.

Bottom line: Despite the humorous name, I would recommend giving Anti Monkey Butt Powder a try, particularly if you are prone to Monkey Butt.
