Free Download and Contest Alert: Bill Harley's "Wash Your Hands"

Fall has officially arrived and you know what that means. Changing colors. Falling leaves. Cooler weather. Pumpkins. Apples. Hay Rides. And the flu. Yuck! It has always been a struggle to get kids to take the proper precautions to avoid this nasty virus. But with more and more new strains popping up, such as H1N1, it's more important than ever to convey the importance of preventative measures.

Thankfully, two-time Grammy Award winner Bill Harley is making it a little easier this season. His fun, new song "Wash Your Hands (Lavate Las Manos)" reminds kids to follow this simple step to fend off the flu. The song was recently featured on National Public Radio's "All Things Considered". Well, now, it is available as a free mp3 download on his website! So go ahead and have a listen with your little ones. There is a long version and a short version so you can choose whichever length works for your child's attention span. Brilliant!

Bill is also hosting a contest, inviting kids, families, and classrooms to create music videos based on his hit songs! Grand prize is a complete set of Bill Harley's autographed CD's and books, but there are also numerous runner-up prizes. Check out the contest page and submit your entry by the deadline of December 4, 2009.
