I love coffee. I live for coffee. My morning just isn't complete without a hot cup of java. But there's just one teensy problem. I can't drink it fresh out of the pot or else it burns my lips and tongue. I have to pour it and wait patiently for it to cool off. But it never fails that my toddler distracts me and when I finally return to my neglected cup, it's more like iced coffee. There is just a small window of opportunity during which I have to chug it while it's at the ideal temperature.
That's all changed now thanks to my new Brugo Mug.
Brugo is an innovative, new insulated travel mug that allows you to drink your favorite hot beverages at the perfect temperature. Its patented thermodynamic Temperature Control Chamber cools each sip, while the remaining coffee stays hot, fresh and aromatic. The lid features a 3-position drink mode selector - Lock, Sip or Tip & Cool - so you can adjust the flow to suit your needs. Need an instant bolt of caffeine? Then you'll want to turn it to Sip. Do you prefer to linger over your coffee and savor each drop? Tip & Cool would be the best mode for you. If your kiddo is like mine and seems have a radar for bumping into your full cup, you can easily Lock your mug to prevent pain-inducing spills and sploshes.
See the Brugo in action:
The Brugo Mug has a sleek, elegant design with 13 stylish color options and chrome accents. It has an ergonomic grip for maximum comfort and a non-slip bottom. And it is compatible with virtually all cup holders!
We received a Brugo Mug from the Executive Collection in the Seaglass color to review.
Where has this been all my life?! Brugo is my new compadre! How could I not love a cup that gives me options to fit my every mood? I can sip it leisurely at home or quickly on the go so it truly can adapt to any lifestyle.
The first thing I noticed was the generous 16 oz. size. On average, I drink two cups of coffee per day, so this was perfect for me. The design is super comfortable to hold and it stays put on a flat surface. True to its word, the Tip & Cool mode kept my coffee at the perfect temperature - not too hot, not too cold. It does flow a little too slow for me though so after the first few minutes, I switch over to the Sip mode to bypass the control chamber. I love that it fits in both my car and stroller with nary a problem. I also love the wide mouth, which makes it very easy to clean. My husband has been sneaking it out to work so I know he is a Brugo fan too. I'm thinking of buying another one in Ruby or Sunshine so we won't have to fight over it.
Bottom line: The Brugo Mug is the perfect accessory for any coffee aficionado.
