Review and Giveaway: Country Bob's All-Purpose Sauce CLOSED

We are carnivores in this house. We love our meat and we eat a lot of it. My husband is the grill master of the family and we've probably tried every marinade they carry at our local grocery store at least once. Peppercorn Garlic. Cayenne. Teriyaki. Lemon Pepper. Mango Chipotle. We like to switch it up every now and again so we don't get bored of the same dishes. Needless to say, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to review Country Bob's All-Purpose Sauce.

Country Bob's All-Purpose Sauce is more than just a knock-off of A-1 Steak Sauce. This gluten-free sauce has a unique blend of spices that make it perfect for just about any dish. You can bake it, grill it, fry it, dip it or use it as a marinade. Besides the typical steak and hamburger, you can use this sauce on chicken, pork, seafood, barbecue - even french fries! Or add it to your favorite homemade recipes for foods such as soups, stews, pasta salads or beans. Country Bob's All-Purpose Sauce has been winning over fans for almost 30 years, but the company still remains true to its roots, producing a high-quality product and providing excellent customer service.

Country Bob was kind enough to send us 2 bottles of their Original All-Purpose Sauce. We've had the sauce for about 3 weeks now and it is delicious! We've used it as a marinade for cornish hens, baked chicken breasts and hamburger, as well as a dip for steak. The consistency is not too thick or thin; it is just right. Its sweet yet savory flavor makes my taste buds do a happy dance. Even my husband, who prefers spicy dishes (his motto is the hotter the better), approved and went back for seconds. I can't wait to try it on pork chops and grilled shrimp. Mmmmm!

For more suggestions on how to use the All-Pupose Sauce, the Country Bob website has an entire recipe section. I plan to try this simple, kid-friendly one for fast, easy lunches:

Grilled Ham & Cheese Sandwiches
Serving Size: 4 sandwiches

8 slices bread, buttered
4 slices cooked ham
6 tbsp Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce
4 slices Monterey Jack cheese

Place ham on unbuttered side of 4 slices of bread. Spread each ham slice with 1 1/2 tsp Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce. Top with cheese and remaining bread slices, buttered side up. Grill sandwiches in large skillet over medium heat, turning once, until golden brown and cheese is melted. Serve with additional Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce.

Bottom line: I would definitely recommend Country Bob's All-Purpose Sauce as a way to pep up your home cooking. It's a tasty, versatile addition to our spice rack.

BUY IT: You can purchase Country Bob's All-Purpose Sauce online or use their handy dandy store locator to find a retail outlet near you (ARV $19.00/case of 6). Country Bob's also sells BBQ Sauce, Seasoning Salt and a Spicy version of the All-Purpose Sauce, which my husband has been egging me to buy.

WIN IT: Country Bob's is generously giving away two bottles of their All-Purpose Sauce to two lucky winners!
