Daily Double! Review and Giveaway: Eau Flirt by Harvey Prince CLOSED

So, I have not one - but TWO - fabulous perfumes to share with you today! I've already reviewed the revolutionary AGELESS formula by Harvey Prince. Now, I bring you their latest fragrance, Eau Flirt.

Eau Flirt is designed to attract the opposite sex. I know what you're thinking. Well, isn't that the point of all perfumes? I thought the same thing. Upon further inspection, I found some interesting tidbits on the website:

All perfumes are designed to smell “pretty,” but this one is the first to be truly designed for attraction, based on a scientific study. Drs. Alan Hirsch and Jason Gruss conducted a study at the Smell and Taste Treatment and Research Foundation to find out which of several different ambient scents and scent combinations had the greatest effect on male sexual arousal. The results: pumpkin pie, licorice and lavender were linked in clinical studies to increased penile blood flow and sexual arousal. Eau Flirt’s bewitching proprietary blend includes sweet and fruity top notes, floral and spicy middle notes, woods and musk bottom notes, combined with vanilla and pumpkin essences.

Mmm, pumpkin pie...but I digress...

Like AGELESS, Eau Flirt is only made from natural ingredients with no artificial colorings. It is allergy tested but not tested on animals. And it reacts with your individual skin chemistry, creating your own unique fragrance.

Now I'm long past the dating scene and very happily married so I'm not looking to attract men. But with my husband working two jobs and myself worn out after incessantly chasing a toddler, we have a hard time getting sparks to fly by day's end. I'd love to catch his attention in a more subtle way than answering the door in a nightie or lighting candles and dropping rose petals amidst the Cheerios strewn on the floor.

So, when Harvey Prince asked me to review Eau Flirt in addition to AGELESS, I gladly agreed.

The first thing I noticed was the packaging. Very feminine and sexy in a playful kind of way. Right up my alley. I sniffed the bottle and immediately detected a light citrusy aroma. I sprayed some on my wrist and neck and was a bit taken aback at first. It smelled much more musky than I originally thought. I was worried I should have stuck with just one spritz. But after a minute or two, it settled into my skin and became this delightful fruity, flowery scent. It was zesty, like the essence of freshly squeezed lemon or lime. Not overly sweet or pungent. The balance was truly perfect. I couldn't wait for the hubby to get home so I could test its effects firsthand.

I didn't dare share the specifics of the fragrance's intention with my husband for fear that he would forbid me to wear it (heehee!). But when he came in and sat down on the couch to relax, I sat next to him as we talked about his day. After a minute or so, he just came right out and asked me, "what are you wearing?" I replied nonchalantly, "oh, just a new perfume I'm reviewing. Do you like it?" He smiled and confessed he loved it - even more than AGELESS. It could be that he was in a good mood or it could be the perfume, but he was a bit more affectionate that evening. He even kissed me on my neck. I can't tell you the last time he did that - probably our wedding day!

The only disadvantage to Eau Flirt would be the same as I noted for AGELESS: the price. At $98/3.4 oz bottle, it's not what I'd call affordable. However, the bottle is huge and will last for a long time if you do decide to splurge.

Bottom line: I'd highly recommend the sweet yet spicy blend of Eau Flirt for a woman of any age. It's definitely going to be a staple on my bathroom countertop since I love it as much as the hubby.
